We are the Central Illinois Parrot Head Club.
Fans of Jimmy Buffett (Parrot Heads) are a dedicated bunch of people joined together by the tropical spirit expressed in his music. They believe in preserving our environment, conserving our natural resources and supporting both national and local causes which benefit the community. Last but not least, these wildly attired tropical do-gooders believe in having fun while supporting these worthwhile charities.
We’ve been involved with various charity organizations throughout Central Illinois, including:
- Easter Seals/UCP
- Alzheimer Association
- Illinois Adopt-A-Highway
- The American Red Cross
- Big Brothers/Big Sisters
- The Children’s Hospital of Illinois
- Illinois CancerCare
And we’re constantly looking for other charities needing our time and effort.
The club also sponsors many social events for our members. Including monthly Happy Hours and trips to TropRock Concerts and other club charity events.
