We hope you’ll be able to join our team as we once again walk to support a cure for Alzheimer’s on Saturday September 29. We will plan to meet at Lake Storey in Galesburg at 8:15 am. We always go somewhere fun for brunch/beverages afterwards.
The link to join our team – or to support our team financially if you’re not able to be there – is below. Thanks!
10 CIPHC members phlocked North to Schaumburg for an extended weekend with 30+ trop rock artists performing. This event was hosted by the Chicago Parrot Head Club to benefit Cornerstone Services. From relaxing afternoons by the pool ‘chilling’ with trop rock to evenings in the ballroom dancing to trop rock, a good time was had by all!
Central Illinois Parrot Heads along with some family members/parakeets bagged and packed 74 cartons of bran flakes in less than 2 hours. Following this activity, we celebrated our endeavors with food and libations at Blue Margaritas!
On June 24, Central Illinois Parrot Heads, along with some friends, enjoyed a cruise on a lovely houseboat up and down the Illinois River. The weather was perfect, the food and beverages shared were excellent, and a good time was had by all. This activity raised money for Illinois CancerCare Foundation.
